Hello I am Petra



I love creating characters, their stories and different worlds. With the help of animation, a good sense of colour and composition, I manage to make complex content exciting and breathe life into each character. My short films have since been part of national and international film festivals and have won various awards. As an independent filmmaker, I have also received funding and scholarships, but I also work on commissioned projects such as music videos, explainer or image films. My clients include WDR3, FAB, ARTE and many more. Since 2022 I am a lecturer for animation and visual storytelling at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Bielefeld. Since 2023 I am the artistic associate for animation at Kunsthochschule Kassel.
