Hello I am Petra



I am an animation artist and director based in Germany. In my artistic practice, I am adeptly employing a refined and playful approach to explore and navigate complex themes with finesse.

Over the years, my short films have been screened at national and international festivals and have received recognition and awards. As an animated filmmaker, I have had the privilege of working with renowned clients like WDR3, FAB, ARTE, and more.

Holding a Bachelor of Education in Fine Arts and Philosophy and a Master's degree in Animation, I have been sharing my passion for storytelling and animation as a lecturer at @University of Applied Sciences Bielefeld and from 2023 as an artistic associate for animation @Kunsthochschule Kassel.
